A tale of brotherly love, the challenges faced by young Black men, and a life cut short. Place and time were vividly depicted - both the good and the bad. A realistically gritty look at the Caribbean immigrant experience in Toronto in the early 1990s. In some ways a sad and depressing read, but the tight community bonds shone through.
