Overall, I enjoyed reading this book. I love space and I love spooky, so the premise of this book was super appealing to me. It has early 2000’s haunted house movie vibes, but in space.
I thought the first half of the book was excellent. The second half was okay, but I definitely enjoyed the first half more.
This book wasn’t perfect, but I still had fun reading it! I still would recommend if you’re looking for something spook!
Some things I didn’t like so much, containing light spoilers:
Spoiler A handful of times, I caught myself thinking about how much I just didn’t like the main character. I was also pretty disappointed that the best part of the first half of the book (the tense, mysterious escalation of what was happening on the Aurora) was just written off in the second half of the book with “I don’t remember”. I feel like there was so much potential!
