Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid

5.0

This book made me cry - I love love so much, it gets me so emotional seeing people experiencing life with their soul mate and boy is this book a doozy.

Hannah is at a crossroads in life, especially after she finds out the man she loved had a wife and kids at home, and the wife found out.. she doesn’t feel particularly at home anywhere and has no idea what she wants to do with her future, so she comes home to where she was raised, LA. She plans to stay with her best friend and go from there.

At midnight on the night of her welcome back drinks, Hannah’s ex from childhood (who’d shown up to reconnect) asks her to stay with him for another drink, after her friend asks her to go home.. which will she decide?

The book takes us on the journey of what would have happened in both scenarios. What happens when she accepts his offer to stay with him at the drinks? What happens if she leaves to go back home with her best friend?

The multiverse allows both stories to run pretty close together.. honestly is SO good.

Filled with heartbreak, love, laughter, healing, LIFE.. oh and cinnamon rolls.
