I can handle cheating in books. Especially if the SO is a deuce canoe.
That is not the case with this book.
Kiera and Denny are madly in love. When they move for Denny's job, they rent a room from a past friend and local rock star, Kellan.
Denny ends up working a lot, and Kellan and Kiera fall into an easy friendship. Lingering glances and stolen touches turn into kisses and a drunken hookup. All the while, Denny is non suspecting and continuing to play the doting boyfriend.
This story was addicting, but infuriating. Kiera plays both men like a fiddle. She is completely indecisive and hurts both men in equal measure.
When Denny goes off the rails banging everything within 10 feet, this relationship becomes purely toxic.
The only innocent party here is Denny. He literally deserved much better than the scraps Kiera gave him. His actions at the end were out of place and misled.
This one didn't hit for me.
