Tokyo Tarareba Girls, Vol. 6 by Akiko Higashimura

4.0

Key is truly the most insufferable love interest I have ever read. He is a judgmental 22 year old and I have no idea why the 30 something year old women in this series fall apart when he insults them. I love this series, but it is incredibly grating when he pops up EVERYWHERE (even with Kaori in this volume) and judges their behavior and choices, acting as a catalyst for them to question their entire lives. Perhaps it’s a cultural disconnect, but I hate reading about him and can’t stand his interactions with the main cast. I wish they could come to self-realization without him harshly berating them every five seconds. I don’t want the ice around him to melt; I just want him to go away.
