The first book was amazing. This was a great read. However, I thought it lacked excitement that the first book had. The concept revolving around the epidemic of suicide. The Program was invented as a way to cure people of killing themselves, and to do so their memories are wiped away.
I liked how the story kept building and worked out for the better in the end. Also, I loved that James and Sloane are a couple as well. The characters are awesome and interesting. I also thought that the new characters are interesting and add to the story as well. The ending made me happy and was the best ending for the book. Overall, an enjoyable dystopian.
