The Swimmers by Julie Otsuka

2.0

The first half is about the swimmers. Written as a collective "we". Then we zoom in on one, "she", then when she is admitted to a facility it is "you", then we switch to her daughter as "you". There's not so much a plot as it feels more like prose list poems. About cracks in pool and memory. At what point are we broken?
