Lavender Clouds: Comics about Neurodivergence and Mental Health by Bex Ollerton

5.0

Bex Ollerton’s art is delicate and poetic, linked directly to rough emotions and feelings. As a neurodivergent person, I was deeply touched by her simple and pure testimony about neurodivergence and mental health. Bex shares everything, from the deepest joy to the blackest moment, feelings and thoughts presented on a platter.

Lavender Clouds will make you reflect on your own emotions : it is sometimes philosophical, sometimes spiritual and very often bittersweet. I am impressed how Bex Ollerton translated her experience with autism, ADHD, and mental health. This graphic novel is a very unique and emotional read, taking you directly into the head and heart of the Artist.
