The Dairy Restaurant by Ben Katchor

3.0

I imagine there are not many who share Katchor’s passion for a nearly extinct species of restaurant. While I found the book to be a jumbled history of an incredibly specific subject at best and a monotonous list of closed businesses at worst, I also could not put it down. So even though I can’t say I enjoyed the book, I also can’t fault it for being exactly what it claims to be: a history of the dairy restaurant. Take it or leave it.
