Skinny Bitch: A No-Nonsense, Tough-Love Guide for Savvy Girls Who Want To Stop Eating Crap and Start Looking Fabulous! by Kim Barnouin, Rory Freedman

2.0

I appreciated that this book is based off of a vegan & vegetarian diet, however it was printed 18 years ago in 2005. SO much has changed in the vegan foods industry. Yes, fruits & vegetables are at the forefront always, but because this book is so outdated, it recommends tons of bad-for-you vegan food options that they literally call in the book "fake chicken"/ "fake bacon" other options they recommend are full of carbs, sugar, hfcs, sodium & startch. The vegan & vegetarian food industry has come a long way in what is available since 2005. All in all, I do think this book had a lot to offer and really enjoyed the way the authors spoke so bluntly and honestly (if f-bombs aren't your thing pass on it) I'd be willing to reread and re-rate the book if it were revised and updated.
