Love for the Cold-Blooded, or The Part-Time Evil Minion's Guide to Accidentally Dating a Superhero by Alex Gabriel

5.0

Love For The Cold-Blooded is highkey one of my favourite books of all time. On my initial read of the book I paused it because I was too afraid of angst, but I made a really good decision by going back because it was simply fantastic!
This book deals with everything in a light, mostly non-serious manner but still the amount of depth present was wonderful. I adore Pat with all my heart. He is a really good main character and his growth throughout the book was a sight to see.
And Nick, Nick my beloved. I love him beyond words. Nick and Pat’s relationship was so lovely too. It had its ups and downs, but the way their romance developed, and how we got to see both of them slowly starting to be vulnerable and soft with each other had me metaphorically sobbing.
The superhero/supervillain stuff, and Pat’s family were absolutely brilliant too.
5/5 to this book I have already read 3 times by the time I am writing this review.
