Well written and a page turner.
Unfortunately, I found the reveal anticlimactic. Maybe if the book had more character work, it would have been better. It doesn't have enough twists to be a plot driven thriller but it doesn't have enough character work to be a character driven or a pshycological thriller. I liked the "can it be paranormal" vibes but it was obvious what was going on so it didn't fully work. The first half was great but honestly? There were many missed opportunities to make this book amazing. The ending was just too straightforward.
