Did not finish book. Stopped at 44%.
Wow this is just bad. I do not know if this is a translation issue or the original writing is just so horrendously bad. (And there are also so many typos which make it hard to believe this is a traditionally published work from Bloom Books.) There is literally nothing to adore. Noah acts like a poorly disciplined 7 year old and I just simply hate rude people. I understand she was frustrated because of the move but that is not the reason to be a damn brat. The feeling between Noad and Nick is pure lust. So many plot holes and time jumps make it difficult to see where the story is actually heading to and how the characters develop feelings for each other. And I do not understand why rape is a thing that can be taken so lightly as if it is some kind of regular daily activities such as getting up in the morning to pee. The movie is not even great but I can still give it a 3 out of 5 for its casting and the edits made on the plot. I do not remember rape was once brought up or hinted in the movie. I think the movie writer probably delete that part because it is just so inappropriate and problematic.
