Absolutely stunning. Faye is an expert at pastiche, and her Brontë is as good as her Doyle, if not better. There is so much love for the original here, and so many clever ways to expand and enrich upon it. This felt like reading Jane Eyre again for the first time and not knowing what's going to happen, and what could be better! I'll definitely be rereading this in the future.
