I don’t know what it is about the curvy/workout/journalist/influencer trope that makes me lowkey uncomfy. It’s probably my own issues that make me not like this as a background for a love story, so idk why I keep trying to read romances with this set-up. Overall, this is was a cute story, but I found myself far more interested in the side plot on its own than the romance. The character development was there, but I wasn’t feeling the chemistry. I think the pacing was a little off since there was so much going on, but if the summary sounds interesting to you- go for it! The writing is great & the cast is super diverse.
