This book (both premise and execution) is magical. It was most everything I hoped it would be with an added exploration of grief that I thought was so well done. I wanted a little more time with our couple in the end to really sit in those emotions which is why it doesn’t get a full 5 stars from me, but it was so close.
Update: I can’t stop thinking about this book. I want everyone to read it but can’t give up my copy to anyone else in case I want to reread it. Definitely 5 stars (5/19/2024)

Graphic: Grief
Moderate: Sexual content and Suicide
Minor: Cursing
Just for information: I don’t normally tag the cursing content warning but there was one use of profanity in this book that took me by surprise because it came late in the book and felt unnecessary/out of character so it stood out to me….?
