The Willful Princess and the Piebald Prince by Robin Hobb

4.0

A re-read. And just after having re-read the whole series. This one was darker than I remembered. And given what happened to the Witted in the series, even harder to take. This tale was basically the origin point of the Witted being treated like anathema. Sure a great little story. But distasteful. 3.5 of 5.

I haven't read any books directly related to this one in years. And this is just a little story set in this world. But it didn't require that you know or remember anything. It was just kind of a small well written train-wreck of a tale. Sad but kind of beautiful.
