The Penultimate Peril by Lemony Snicket

4.0

This book was simply deligthful and throughly terrible in that all ones favorite past villians meet up in the same place so there is much absurdity in every chapter as the orphans try to make there way through finding the mystery of their parents, without getting caught by count olaf's henchmen. It is equally terrible in that yet more castrophies happend to them.

on a philosophical note. I found it interesting that the author highlights peoples actions and what one sees as good- the same action could be bad by another but because of circumstances it is seen that way.
It's as if he is saying there are no good and bad people only good and bad choices. Very deep principle for a childs book.
