4.0

It was hard to assign a specific number of stars to this volume. It's a bit uneven - which is common in anthologies. There were a few comics that rubbed me the wrong way (for all sorts of reasons) - but the good parts are SO good (both the writing and the ink work). I also saw a lot of imagination: there were strips that were historical as well as sci-fi/fantasy fables with Jewish themes. At first, I thought I'd pick a three, but then thought better of it, because for the die-hard Jewish graphics fan, this really is a must-read. I think the rating should reflect that.
