LMAO wtf did I just read.

Pros: The plot and writing really had me until the ending and reveal. I felt so interested by the story, and then out of nowhere comes that insane and ridiculous ending. A booktuber I like gave this 5/5 stars. He personally loved that the ending was bizarre, messed up and “took no prisoners.” If that is your interest in a thriller, I highly recommend because I doubt you’ll find something that goes as hard as Alice Feeney, she’s definitely not afraid to go totally unhinged and that’s kind of cool on it’s own.

Cons: Not only was it the most insane ending I’ve ever read, it made absolutely no sense.  How did the villain even know what they know? How did they manage to trick anyone? How did they manage to physically pull any of that off?? The villain actually could have worked for me if she didn’t add any of the crazy and um quite frankly disgusting things to the character and ending. I made the unfortunate decision to listen to this on audiobook too…ick.
