The Midnight Twins by Jacquelyn Mitchard

3.0

I'd never read any of Mitchard's fiction before -- just some of her essays on adoption, which I really liked. I think this is supposed to be YA but it felt a little young. It's a fun, suspenseful story about twin sisters with a gift for telepathy. Unfortunately you've got to get past the first chapter, in which she introduces you to the characters and beats you over the head with the fact that they are twins, and that they have a bond. Over and over again. I almost quit. Try not to, it's still a good read.
