A very difficult story to rate. The story itself is gripping, you come to care for Seita and Setsuko even though the sad end is already known. The writing style however makes it almost impossible to read, despite the efforts of the translator to make it more readable, inserting an extra period, not mixing up the 1st and 3rd POVs, etc.
