I got this book free on the Kobo reading app and it's also free on Kindle. I really enjoyed the beginning. The chase was great. Alexander was intoxicating. Who wouldn't want a deliciously British bad boy prince? But I actually had issues with this book too. I'm going to try and make it as spoiler free as possible.

First things first(I'm the realist. NOPE. SORRY.) let's talk about Alexander. He's even more controlling than Christian at times. He makes me feel like I've got whiplash. I love that he's British and a bad boy AND A PRINCE. But I know there can be more to a man than just sex and sexual appeal. Alex seems to think that he's gods gift and that everything is SEX. He fixes everything with sex or tries to.

I feel like he never let Clara think because he knew as soon as she said something he could shut her up and make her forget with sex. There was a part that could've been perceived as rape. I'm not going to deny this and I'm not going to consider this as a spoiler, because it's more of a warning. At first I mistook it for that, and it could've been triggering.

This book is hectic and most times it seemed like it was just an avalanche of things happening one after the other and it was hard to not hate every character other than Clara, Alexander (even though I hated him sometimes), Belle, David and Edward. Pepper and the queen and the king can fuck off. Kthanksbye.

Overall I didn't hate it, flew through it and that cliffhanger ending sucked but I'm not sure if I'll pick up any of the next books.
