In progress: audiobook is bad - female narrator sounds whiny and gossipy, dragging out the ends of her words and leaning on vocal fry.
There’s a lot of drinking, and not just socially, in the book. Even pre-work day drinking.
Parts, especially the beginning of the chapters, are confusing because the author writes multiple lines of dialogue without telling us who’s talking.
