Knowing You by E.M. Lindsey

5.0

Okay, so this was one hell of a swoony story with an exceptional meet-cute! You’ll adore both of these guys from the first page. They are so endearing and terrific, both as general human beings but also, especially, with each other.

Lane is a single dad to Briar, a precocious 3-year-old who could put master thieves to shame! I adore them together, but the poor guy needs some support since his wife has decided finding her zen is more important than being a mother.

Enter Bowen. He needs to start over since his relationship and his career are over. Coming home to live with his brother, Lane’s neighbour, while he figures out what’s next. Bowen is a beautiful guy who is a toddler whisperer.

A match made in heaven! And they make a perfect team. I loved how well they supported one another, and brought so much joy and warmth to each other's lives.

This was definitely one of the more lighthearted of EM’s books. And by lighthearted I mean it didn’t require an entire box of tissues to get through it, not that it wasn’t emotional and engaging. I can’t wait for more of these single dads.
