Evil Under the Sun by Agatha Christie

5.0

I loved Evil Under the Sun by Agatha Christie! It's definitely one of my favourite Hercule Poirot mysteries because Agatha Christie took great character with building intriguing characters who all could have been suspects.

Evil Under the Sun finds Hercule Poirot surrounded by a mix of interesting characters while on vacation at the Jolly Roger Hotel. As we get to know the colourful characters staying at the Jolly Roger, we discover the beautiful temptress Arlena Marshall has been murdered. Arlena, who was married to Captain Kenneth Marshall, was making her affair with the married Patrick Redfern quite obvious to the guests and thus no one was very surprised to find out she had been murdered. As with all great Poirot mysteries, we spend the rest of the novel learning each character's alibis and trying to put the pieces of Arlena's murder together.

I highly recommend Evil Under the Sun!
