Those Girls by Chevy Stevens

5.0

First things first, holy moly guacamole TRIGGER WARNINGS.
TW: Child abuse, child rape/molestation, rape in general, torture, kidnapping

Now to the nitty gritty. Not often do I read a book and the plot and characters sit with me and create such a big impact on me.
There was about a 4/10 of character development, none of the characters were really deeply gone into- but boy was there action. PAGE TURNING action. I made the mistake of getting the THAT PART while I was lying down in bed, and oh man I stayed up way too late.

The story is about three sisters who first escape an abusive father, to only fall into more abuse at the hands of 19 year old (brothers?). The abuse that is witnessed from these boys is told in such detail, I literally had to stop eating my dinner because of the gruesomeness of the scene.

The book is split into 3 parts. In the second part, they finally get out of the abuse and they are living 17 years later- one of the sisters dissapears and the neice does as well..... where did they go?

The worst thing that has already happened to the girls twice in the book happens yet again...
but MAN I flew through the end of this book , it was soooo action packed. I loved this book so much. This will be one I would love to read again.

10/10.
Chevy Stevens has a loyal fan out of me.
