Wow. Was expecting this? No, after reading book lovers and people we meet on vacation I wasn’t expecting this book. And it was beautiful. I loved book lovers, and people we meet on vacation was okay for me but this book might be her best I’ve read so far. I was so not expecting any of it and it’s such a sad and beautiful story. So much emotion pours out and how she tells the story and everything about it. I don’t like leave spoilers in reviews so I wont say anything about it other than it’s a great story.

Not a Rom Com. By any means. Ghosts and past generational trauma, and accepting change and healing family stuff - all themes within the book. Magical realism, and fate and destiny.
