Herculine Barbin: Being the Recently Discovered Memoirs of a Nineteenth-Century French Hermaphrodite by Michel Foucault

4.0
This book is interesting, as it gathers the non-fictional memoirs of Abel Barbin's life, the marginalia surrounding it, and the fictionalised Night at the Convent, with these three texts working together to expand the perception of his life. Interesting read with a good summative preface by Foucault.
Moderate: Sexual content
Minor: Suicidal thoughts, Suicide, and Transphobia
