I loved this book and had been looking forward to its release. I had been a little apprehensive given that there had been some lukewarm reviews on goodreads but having read it - I don't agree with those reviews and found the storyline, character development and dialogue to be as wonderful as ever.
I know that there are those who prefer the Lady Julia Grey series but for me it's Veronica Speedwell and her Stoker forever! The slowburn between these two has been excellent and I have really enjoyed listening to the narration by Angele Masters - she's excellent.
