Jo is the daughter of Hollywood Royalty, and she’s never really had a caring family.
When things go wrong, she’s eating her taco and Nick finds her – he doesn’t want to get involved but he’s a Gallo and he can’t not help her, knowing what his mother would think if he didn’t.
Jo knows Nick doesn’t know who she is, but after he tells her ex that cheated on her they’re coming to get her stuff from the hotel, Jo knows she can’t go there it will be a media circus, so she just lets him know her family is well known.
Jo knows that it’s only a break to get away and she tells Nick’s mother that, she’s only passing through, she wasn’t expecting Angel to let her know to keep telling herself that, Jo is going to find out about just how hard the Gallo’s protect and care for what is theirs.
Although they have a rough start, the more Nick learns of Jo, he knows she had a very different upbringing to her, his was full of family and love, all he wants to do is help Jo stop doubting herself and stop hiding.
Loved seeing all the Gallo’s together at the family meals and the glimpse into the future – can’t wait for the next book.
