Dreamers Often Lie by Jacqueline West

2.0

What I thought this novel would be based on the premise: a dark psychological study of a fragile and possibly damaged mind using Shakespeare as a guide to deal with her issues, the same way Dante was guided by Virgil in Inferno.

What I got: Protagonist Jaye plays the "let's make bad decisions!" game a dozen or so times with two guys in a love triangle, popular Shakespeare characters are mentioned for symbolism but the play is not the thing.
