Camp Slaughter by Sergio Gomez

A group of college kids rent out “the most secluded cabin in Pennsylvania” for a weekend of partying. What they don’t realize is the cabin is located near the infamous Camp Slaughter where many have gone missing before. And that the cannibal responsible for those disappearances still lives nearby...

If you’re in the mood for a slasher that follows the usual tropes while also adding in new elements, this one is for you. It felt familiar yet refreshing at the same time. In typical slasher fashion, the characters consisted of a large group of college kids, but unfortunately i didn’t get attached to any of them (maybe that was the intention?), so some of the deaths fell flat, and their only purpose was to add gore
