The story is action packed and entertaining but I find Owl herself kind of annoying. However I probably would have given it 3 stars if not for a very minor thing that happened at the end to

Captain. I LOVE Owl's cat. He is my favorite character and to have her give him up as payment for the deal she made to get the curse lifted just pissed me off. Sure she didn't actually realise Lady S would take her cat because when she promised her most treasured possession she actually meant of the treasure she had. BUT she didn't seem to fight it that hard. She didn't even try to make the argument that Captain is not a possession he is her family

I know it is a minor plot point in the scheme of things but it just really bugged me.
