Children of Virtue and Vengeance by Tomi Adeyemi
Did not finish book.
It should be a rule – an official rule to write the synopsis of the previous book in every series right before the next story starts!!!!! They really should, especially if the book is as confusing as the Children of Blood and Bone. Please, publishers, listen, I am shelving this book partly because of you.
Spoiler Alert***
I read the first book of the Children of Virtue and Vengeance few years back, and I remember almost every little detail (including the fact on how the book had annoyed me by being absolutely plain and confusing) but I couldn’t remember a major guy called ROEN. Who is he? Why do I remember everyone else in the book apart from this particular guy? It quite obviously isn’t my fault. It would’ve been if I hadn’t literally remembered everyone else.
Either way, I am shelving this book for now as a reward to myself for working so hard over the month.
