All in all, I thought this book was a good primer for cults and cult-like language. As someone who loves learning about linguistics, it was an interesting read and I mightily enjoyed it. I couldn't help, though, wanting to learn more about these cults. The way the books tackles them is mostly the language that makes them, but I wanted to know everything about them, thus it led me down a rabbit hole into cult documentaries and researching more books to go along with it. If you're just getting into these subjects, this is a good place to start!
