This book was sort of like X-Men but no where near as good. The characters were pretty bland, the main character herself not really feeling defined in any way. She was just angsty and could fight well. The 'romance' aspect was also completely unexciting, there was no real chemistry between the characters.
The ideas and concept behind the book was kind of cool (Adrian's power in particular) but unfortunately it all just fell super flat. I was left really disappointed because Meyers books seemed to have been getting progressively better and better, and then this one was just a huge let down.
