Did not finish book. Stopped at 2%.

Too Western-centric and not nuanced enough. I know the point is to be a bit of a "taster" of each subject, but it was too high level for what I'm looking for. Also the claim that it will enable the reader to "roam confidently with the cultured class" is incredibly classist and turned me off quickly.
