Bulletproof by Mary Calmes

3.0

Book 5 of a series (though I understand the other books are more installments of one story). I hadn't read the earlier books in this series so had no idea of the characters involved but have enjoyed previous stories written by Mary Calmes. I picked this one up in the DSP giveaways in Oct 12.
I did quite enjoy this one, probably a 3.5 due. The writing certainly kept me page turning so I devoured it in two sittings.
The story had lots of plot twists, though at times Jory was a bit exasperating - I think I'd have wanted to tie him down to get a bit a sense out of him and for his own safety!

22.10.19 reread : Having read the previous books now, I did get more annoyed by Jory - he attracts people that border on abusive/stalker behaviour; he really is the epitome of the TSTL hero. So afraid to say, skimmed a lot. This time 3*
