"Arthur listened for a short while, but being unable to understand the vast majority of what Ford was saying he began to let his mind wander." 

I felt precisely this way throughout the entirety of this book. Absolute jibberish and not my cup of tea. 
One star only out of respect for its cult following I guess, idk.
