As a fan of Alicia Keys, I really enjoyed this book. The storyline was entertaining and it was nice to see how Lolo grew into her own person and learned to stand up for herself.

One thing I would've wanted to see more in the story is how
SpoilerLolo's mom left. It's alluded that she left because of her powers (and it was also slightly confirmed in the epilogue as she leaves her family again), but I wish that Alicia and Andrew would've gone in depth about it. She basically comes back to see her husband and children briefly, then leaves them all over again. That's weird.
