This book was such a breath of fresh air. Thank you, Avina, for giving me a chance to ARC read this one 🖤
This is a fast-paced, second chance, reverse grumpy sunshine romance that follows Zalak, who is an absolute bad ass! Her life is uprooted after an attack on her convoy changes everything. She is struggling when she gets approached by her first love, the man she left behind, Mathijs to be his new security detail.
I wanted to give both of these characters the biggest hugs. The way Avina wrote them was so raw and real, made you feel all of the emotions.
& the gun scenes were absolute perfection. 🌶🌶🌶
