I have to say, I started this book in quite a bad headspace as I had been told that this book was patronizing, with an "holier than thou" mentality but decided to read it anyways.
I'M GLAD I DID, because it is quite the opposite.
Roxane Gay really spoke to me. I enjoyed every chapter. The author managed to explain concepts the way I wish I could have.
