it's very emotional to see the progression of Simon from the beginning to the end. He's been through a lot and as much as I hated his whining in this book, he can't be blamed for it. I haven't read any Shadowhunter books since 2019 so it was a bit of an adjustment coming back to this universe but it's nostalgic to meet those characters again.

I understand that the Clave has no budget after the war but pls renovate the damn Academy
