The Kindness of Strangers by Katrina Kittle
5.0
Read 7/14
Read in 1 day. Could not put it down.
I love stories that begin with a chapter, even a few pages, that tells you where the characters will end. This is how this book begins.
Story deals with a very tough subject, the most horrendous of child sexual abuse, that caused by parents. The authors handles the subject matter very well and I was left feeling hopeful. I truly hope there are families like the Ladens that are loving and can take kids in like Jordan and love them thru their tragedy to such a degree that they have a real chance at life.
