Everything and the Moon by Julia Quinn

1.0

The awful saccharine first page made me double check the author. Quinn usually writes a LOT better than this tripe, I couldn't believe that she had actually written this.

The writing felt more like a Quinn novel when the couple broke up, but the story and characters still didn't sit quite right with me. Victoria was a top notch ninny, while Robert is overbearing and creepy.

I don't understand that despite Victoria's desire to straighten things out with Robert she withheld key information that would make him believe / understand that she wasn't a gold digger. The only thing I could think of was that Victoria was embarrassed about it? Or ashamed? Ugh.
