If I could rate this higher oh my god I’d break the button. The way Tracy handles grief and anger and loss is so perfect and well written that at times I felt like I was in Bree’s shoes. The way race was handled in this book (being made to feel like an outsider even when you’ve earned your place) was also perfect.
I don’t think there are words to describe my love for this book like none that would fit at least.

Her ancestry and the pain of it as well is so painful to think about when you think of how much pain her ancestor had to go through and how that pain went down generations.
