I’m so sad this world is done (for now at least). I loved this series. Ria wrote characters that were complex and dark but so heartbreakingly beautiful. Isobel’s story is painful and emotional and after everything she’s been through, she’s still fighting.
Isobel, after years of being held captive and then waiting for revenge, was finally able to go after the one man who she thought she could trust. Hunter, my favorite deranged, obsessive cinnamon roll, always had a plan. He fought for her at every turn and only needed to show her that his decisions, were for her.
Ria really said hold my beer and went for it on the spice in this book. After being away from Isobel for three years, Hunter had a lot to make up for and he DELIVERED. The man’s obsession with her and her satisfaction was unparalleled.
