I thought this book was a great introduction, for Middle schoolers, to Bletchley Park and the work the code breakers did during World War 2. This book included names of known real life code breakers and those who worked to stop Hitler by decoding messages. The book was well written and I feel the characters definitely grew during the book. They all had great growth, especially Jakob and Lizzie. I loved the characters created in this book. I also loved that the author included at the back a bit about Bletchley Park and the real people they included. I would recommend this to a friend for sure!
Spoiler:
I do wish we could have found out for sure what happened to Colin's brother, but I understand why the authors chose to leave this out, especially since many families didn't find out until after the war, (or even never), what happened to their loved ones.
