Pale Kings and Princes by Robin Wasserman, Cassandra Clare

I really liked this story !
The Sizzy was so cute, but I mostly loved the Faerie story. The way they talk about discriminating the faes, seeing a threat in all of them while only a few of them betrayed the Shadowhunters in the was : kinda reminds us of the world right now, doesn't it ?
And it's very important, because it has happened so many times in history, bc fear and hatred can only lead to bigger hatred, to hadred for a whole community - or spieces in this case (now with terrorism, after WWI btw France and Germany, WWII,...)

I also loved the last chapter (spoiler) where we see what really happened btw Helen's parents, with the faerie's PoV. It was a wonderful addition to this story, bc she was portrayed as evil, as an example of the fair folk's attitude towards ppl but it turned out to be wrong. Everything they believe is wrong, as it often is IRL.

So yes, I loved this story, mostly bc of the political connotation of it and what it means for our time in history.
